Although born in the city of Toronto, Amy grew up in and around the countryside north of Toronto.
Most of those years were spent on her parents' horse farm, where her mother ran an equestrian school and her father was a successful illustrator and wildlife artist.

Surrounded by art and nature, Amy developed an appreciation for the arts early.
As a child she remembers dreaming of being either a nurse, ballerina, actress, and singing star in a blue lame dress and a matching boa - possibly married to Elvis. However, besides being famous for her childhood renditions of "Total Eclipse of the Heart", she was also known for drawing an endless amount of pictures of both the world around her and the world she saw in magazines and on the movie screen.

Still carrying on her interest in the glamour and vitality of hip city life and celebrity, Amy De Wolfe has been capturing the look, feel and trends of modern decadence for just 3 years.
In that time, she has built a respected and growing client list including: The Soussana Group, Kan & Associates, Storieboards, and many private clients.

She has also licensed her work to companies such as: Workhorse Wireless, Mochoa Greetings, Underneath.com, and Canadian Dachshund Rescue and donated works to various charities such as: Canadian Dachshund Rescue, Ms. Films Benefit Auction, and the Breast Cancer Stationary Bike-a-thon in Toronto.
